Deaf Camp Jaspel is for Deaf and CODA youth aged 18-35 years old from all over the world! The main goal of our camp is to promote leadership skills and strenghten the identity and pride of the sign language and Deaf culture.

You don’t have to sign up with a leader as all the participants are above 18years old. You take responsibility for yourself.

The Camp is located in a small village called Výtoky, near city Pieštany. This village is situated approximately 98km from the capital city Bratislava.

The exact term of the camp is 27th of July – 3rd august 2026. It starts with dinner on the 27th of July and ends with lunch on the 3rd of August.

We recommend that you book your flight tickets (or bus or train) for the 27th of July 2026 at the latest by 1pm in Vienna (Austria, Vienna – Schwechat Airport) or by 2pm in Bratislava (Slovakia, Bratislava – M.R. Štefánik Airport). There will be a shuttle bus from the airports to Výtoky.

Vienna – Výtoky 79 eur

Bratislava – Výtoky 65eur.

The camp program will focus on developing leadership in sign language among participants through a variety of educational, sporting, and cultural activities, as well as lectures and workshops. The complete schedule will be finalized by the end of May 2026.

If you would like to give a lecture or offer an activity in your area of expertise at the Camp, we would love to hear from you. Please send a short description and your profile to jaspel.ck@gmail.com. From the submitted proposals, we will select those that best fit the camp program.

Attached is a document which outlines what to do in the event of an emergency.

The price includes meals 5 times a day (breakfast, brunch, lunch, after lunch snack and dinner). If you have food intolerances, allergies, or special dietary requirements due to religious beliefs, please list them on the form so that we can accommodate all these needs.

Total Fee: €550
The price includes accommodation, full board (5 meals per day), program, and all activities.

Payment can be made in installments upon request.

The final payment needs to be made latest till May 2026.

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance and transportation to either Vienna International Airport (Austria, Schwechat) or Bratislava Airport (Slovakia, M. R. Štefánik).

Transportation from the airport to the camp and back is available for an additional fee:

• Vienna – €79
• Bratislava – €65

If you require a visa, please inform us after completing your registration.
Once you register, you will receive an invoice for payment. After the payment is received, we will issue an official invitation letter to support your visa application.

We strongly recommend that you apply for your visa well in advance.

If your visa application is officially denied, your payment will be refunded minus a €20 administrative fee.
